CHARLESTOWN, Ind. – Plenty of activities, live music, festivities, and a drone show highlight upcoming Community Days 2025 in Charlestown, held on Sept. 19-20.

On Saturday, Sept. 20, the Charlestown City Square will be bouncing with activity. From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., visitors can enjoy vendors, food trucks, and six live bands. The night will be capped with an all-new custom drone show that will be displayed in Charlestown at 9 p.m. The nearly 15-minute spectacle will feature new illuminations highlighting all things Charlestown.

“We’re excited to welcome the return of a drone show that showcases different elements of our Charlestown community,” said Mayor Treva Hodges. “It was an amazing show last year, and we have fresh displays this year that we think people will really enjoy.”

The packed music line-up on Saturday features Arianna & The Bourbon Britches (11 a.m.), The Swerve (1 p.m.), The Brass Pack (3 p.m.), Van Waylon (5 p.m.), Ron Miller and the Roadhouse Roosters (7 p.m.), and the Jason Lee McKinney Band (9:30 p.m.).

Community Days, presented by Dan Cristiani Excavating, welcomes many vendors ranging from crafters to artists and businesses to civic groups. Many of the best food trucks in Southern Indiana will be on hand too.

This free family-friendly event features a kids’ corner with bounce houses, video game truck, and yard games. There will also be a Jump Rope Contest at 1 p.m. along with a Pedal Pull at 4 p.m. No pre-registration required. There will be a cake wheel from 5:30-8:30 p.m. or while supplies last.

Complimentary golf cart shuttles will be available to help visitors to the venue.

On Friday, Sept. 19, we pull together as a community and cheer on the Charlestown High School football team with a tailgate party, held at Charlestown Ensembles (1120 Monroe Street).

Musician Robin Embry will provide the music starting at 5:30 while supporters can enjoy food and refreshments leading up to the 7 p.m. kick-off.
