Charlestown Clark “Doc” Werner Dog Park

The Charlestown Dog Park is located on the west side of Spring Street, across from the basketball courts that are in Greenway Park. There are two areas in the park, one for large dogs and one for smaller dogs. In order to use the dog park, each dog must be registered, annually, and must have on file up-to-date proof of vaccinations. Upon completion of registration, owners will be issued a key fob that will enable access to the park. The park is open dawn to dusk. Owners are not permitted to take dogs that are not registered into the park. If a person has multiple dogs, each dog must be registered. Each dog is only permitted in the area of the park for which he/she is registered. Owners are solely responsible for their dogs. Entering the dog park is at each owner’s risk and each owner is responsible for keeping their dog from engaging in dangerous behavior with people or other dogs. The registration form is available for download on this page. Please have it completed when you come to register. Bring a recent picture of the dog being registered. The picture must be a profile pic (taken from the side) of the entire dog.  The picture is necessary to verify that the dog in the park has been registered.  From this page, you may download the dog park registration and rules form.
